So if a gas is naturally in our atmosphere, it isn't a pollutant? By that measure, there are very few pollutants. Ozone, various nitrogen oxides and sulfur compounds make up measurable percentages in the atmosphere through non-human processes.

None of those are present in any where near the concentration of CO2. CO2 is created in our bodies and we take it in with every breath and breathe out even more if it. It is ubiquitous and non-toxic.
