Thanks Jill. I have had enough virus snafu's in the past that I am a bit paranoid about not having Norton's protecting me. Perhaps it is ignorance, but for the comfort level it provides I think I will go with it. Valuable to hear multiple leanings towards Windows 2000 over the ME version. Appreciate the response. Kevin

I'm unsure whether window ME is the same as window 2000, but my techie computer friends said dont get windows ME/2000, while the traders I know have recommended it. I have had no problems with Windows ME. It seems very fast and stable so far
