Robert: He is implying that fundamentals are what matters. Unfortunately, nothing in his post dealt with fundamentals -- like earnings. Only bits and bytes, which, like page views, are the new economy substitute for true fundamentals. Since the new economy has no fundamentals, you won't see Bill post anything about them. But you will see lots of irrelevant nonsense about bits and bytes and page views and the advertising market in 1990.
