I guess that's what I really meant to say about my earlier comments about anti-virus programs. Having them actively run in the background during the trading day is NOT a good thing. Thanks for clarifying for me what it was that I was really trying to say <GGG>

Jim, I remember buying my first computer and taking the leap to get a whopping 8 MB of RAM instead of the standard 4MB! Now we consider 256 vs. 512 or a GB! Apparently the boundaries will continue to stretch... The flat panel monitor sounds great, but pretty spendy. I think I will put the extra $ into more RAM instead. When Norton's loads, it gives the option of working in the background or not. Easy to click "no". Thanks for the tips, Kevin
