<<I assume you saw the list of Nobel Laureates -- a majority of Nobel Laureates in Science supported the Kyoto treaty.>>

I would assume most, if not all, the Nobel Laureates are connected with a major university or publish a lot of papers. Global warming calls for studies, FUNDED studies. My years in retail caused me to come into contact with many college professors and I can't remember a one who had any connection with the real world.

Well, I got to hand it to you and zonkie, that's a better list then I've seen posted before. I noticed you stated as "fact", there is a strong consensus in the world's scientific community that the threat of global warming is very real and action is needed immediately.

I wonder how they came to this conclusion. Have they considered the 19,200 people contained in this list, many of which work in the field of climatology? oism.org

Additionally, check out this list of 25 meteorologists in Ohio, who Clinton attempted to manipulate in order to build public support for the Kyoto Protocols. They didn't take the bait, and reacted by signing the petition I cite earlier. sepp.org

The petition I posted earlier has not been filled up by people with only bachelors degrees as you inferred. And if you read it, I'm sure you understand that. So, let's try and not muddy the water with silly innuendo's like that. There are far more PHD's on my list of 19,200 scientists, by an order of thousands, then the 60 American Nobel prize winners who've been cited.

I started looking up the Nobel winners in order to see whether they had any background in climatology. And what I found was they had very little background in the field of weather or climatology. Remember, 'writers' get Nobel prizes, but it doesn't mean they know anything more about the climate than you or I.

The more I keep reading about this Kyoto treaty, the more I realize it's being used to drum up support in order to redistribute the earths wealth. Many countries around the world simply don't think it's fair we use 22% of the worlds energy, and they want to even the playing field for themselves.

So, the Nobel list really isn't too difficult to figure out, most of the Nobel prize winners are probably very left wing socialists, who are inclined toward one world government solutions.

The first American on the list is a professor at Princeton. The same Princeton which gave a chair to a person who believes it's morally alright to kill a 28 day old baby, who believes animals are on an equal moral footing with people, and who compared chickens pens with Nazi concentration camps.

But, before we go any further in this discussion. Am I to assume by your original post condemning Bush, that you believe we should ratify the Kyoto Protocols and implement the mandates? Because, I fervently do not.

Dear E, 1997 ???? give me a break. E, you see the questions about all the theories and all the data the grows every year get fed into computers.
watman.com Now this is a movie I created with a 32 head SIG origin 2000. This was a few years back and for it's time the system I used was one of the most powerful in the world. The stuff I was doing was very very small stuff in the context climate simulation and my stuff taxed the limits of this computer.

Now I'm trying to recall of the processors were at 300 or 350 megHz. Anyway today SGI is delivering World's First 512-Processor SGI Origin 3000 Series Single System Image. biz.yahoo.com
That's 512 at 450 megHz.

Now the advance of computers from 1996 today is stunning and the ability now is to do in a few days hundreds of simulations for every simulation upto 1996. The simulations have demonstrated the the CO2 theories are just that.

So the opinion of those in 1997 was based on limited information that could be interpreted to support the CO2 theory. AT the time all the science was focused on how prove the theory and not test the theory. But once so many went on the record in a mr bill lets just say it so way, well then the real serious professional science got in gear.

The data all indicates that in the number of baseball bases that 2 + 2 = 11 and the theory is bunk.

And what will happen next, more simulation power.
To make the prototype 512-processor SGI Origin 3800 single system image, NASA Ames and SGI combined two 256-processor SGI Origin 3800 machines. Over the next few months, NASA Ames and SGI will once again raise the bar for the entire industry by connecting two 512-processor SGI Origin 3800 supercomputers to form the world's first 1,024-processor single system image.
