that's news to me. add phony dollars that wouldn't actually be there and you actually reduce the number. ;-)

i know that didn't happen initially as gdp was hyperboosted at an 80%-100%. now that this bag of worms is out, anything can happen. we can have nice reported gdp growth while the nation outputs less and less dollars.

however, taking a recent short term trend and making a statement like above is terribly misleading - if such a short term trend actually does exist.

please expound with details rather than statement of fact.

ps - you still didn't answer the question. is there a reason? can't reconcile losing one's home due to increased productivity? ;-)
