Many thanks. That was just the information I needed.
I've run across Monas's name in some articles that
came up on Lebed but nothing came up under Ira Monas
so the information on SI is really helpful.

Even the sharpest traders I know can't just put in sell
orders and take off for the day with the result that
they make a 1,000 percent profit in a year. You can only
do that if the deal is rigged. Nobody hits it right time
and again on penny stocks. Not even people who have traded
the pennies all their lives. My father always bet on
horse races but he said never bet on the horse. Bet on
the jockey and if you know the jockey is crooked double
your bet.

Fascinating story. Does raise some questions, though,
about some of the practices of brokerage houses.
