Japan's "increasing unemployment" is less than 5%. The bear market in the Nikkei started in 1990.

See if you can find where 5% lies on the historical Japanese record. Five percent unemployment may be equivalent to a US 10% level, from the Japanese POV. However, that is pure speculation.

The Nikkei bear market shows no sign of ending to this point.
