Finally the unemployment rate starts to go up, isn't that what he wants? Higher unemployment rate and lower Nasdaq? Even if we head into a deep recession, he still has his high paying job, right?

You have to put unemployment in perspective.
At best we'll be up to 4.2 -4.3 %. Maybe 4.5%.Even 4.6%.
Big deal.This is nothing .It is peanuts.

Consider that just in 1995, 5% was considered the Max. in employment. And we are below that now.
It is amazing how myopic people can be.
