Chris is using a "Mobile System" to "Update" the zone.
I don't think he intended to infer he had news on the mobile front!

AMDZone's First Mobile Update!
Reported by: Chris Tom At: 4:43 PM Source: Jeff's Car
Well here is AMDZone's first mobile update. Sure JC beat me to it with his Handspring and internet adapter, but I didn't want to spring for one of those since
I can use my notebook and Motorola Timeport. Anyway, if you like the Duron check us out late Sunday night. If you like Hypertransport check us out early Monday morning. That's all I'm saying. I may have a mobile update later if I have a good reason.

Milo >>>AMDZone's First Mobile Update!

I think he was talking about updating his webpage on the road....????

Didn't Cnet quote AMD saying mobile Palomino was shipping already but Compaq and HP had no plan to ship notebooks based on it until mid year, due to lack of notebook specific chipsets? If that's true, then no Palo notebook until Q3, so the best we can expect in Q2 is one more Duron @950 and one or two more Tbirds to launch around P4 1.7GHz.

As long as Palo notebooks get on the shelves by early Q3, I think AMD will be okay.
