pro forma operating profit, which excludes restructuring and special charges, supplier warrant charges, option payroll taxes and stock-based compensation charges. WOW. Bezos goes even further: proforma operating profit also excludes interest charges. Why don't they state that it includes taxes, just to look good. they never made money and the US government never saw a penny from them. Bezos will probably say: in Q4 Amazon will have pro-active operating profit , which excludes cost of goods sold. Andthat he will guarantee that. Andthat Henry Blodget will raise his ratings to Strong Buy. And that Mary Meeker will say that Amazon has come full circle. And that Van Bon Jovi - who confirms PT Barnum statement that there is one sucker born every minute - will tell all who are negative on Amazon that we are just stupid ignorant investor; and that he would buy more Amazon stock. And those who are short will be laughing all the way to the bank.
