You know, we all figured China would do something when Slick left office. Did not take them long, did it?

Re China: Republican foreign policy is rooted in a Cold War state of mind, as exemplified by the Cheney-Rumsfeld-Pentagon cabal. ("If we ain't in conflict with someone, then let's push the envelope until we are.") Now the "get-tough" policies of D-Dubya-I are undoing not only the eight years of prosperity we had under President Clinton, but also the eight years of peace. Colin Powell, a man of merit and moderation, may soon join Christie "Slim" Whitman on the sidelines in this administration.

Bill Clinton is looking better and better every day ... on several fronts. Clinton had his faults, but unlike GWB, he wasn't easily duped by his advisers.

That's what happens when we have an Extreme Court select a president who couldn't even pass the law school entrance exam.
