I saw the near death experience in the 11,000s which did not bode well going forward. I figured the jam job to just a hair below 13,000 would be read for just what it was.

In the meantime, life in Japan doesn't look so bad. They've gotten rid of the requirement that civil servants be born in Japan and the very first foreign born civil servant was just hired. People are flocking to a fancy ferris wheel to "shag." But they are worried about the dollar-yen exchange rate.
