Yeah, the market has no sense of humor at all. Flirting with 9 bucks on a day when MSDW announces it will take the overallotment of shares, which knocks more than half a billion of debt off of LU's books. A total of 3 billion is now off, with the 2.5 billion offloaded onto Agere.
Maybe Rosanne Barr as CFO would turn things around.

The best paying CD that I own right now is paying an APY of 7.35%. That means I've got to wait an entire year to earn $73.50 on a thousand dollars. With this stock I just lost $114.00 on each $1,000 worth I had at the end of yesterday and it only took one day. We're now down 34.6% for the year and off the all time high by 89.3% .... an evaporation of the highest order.

I have to say that this constant selling of a business like this has me baffled. I thought that once the stock had gotten down to around $15/share that it would sort of stop. Just goes to show that I don't know a darn thing about when to hold them and when to fold them.

I see where Cramer has gotten himself a spot on CNBC as a commentator of sorts. Except for a few rare occasions, he almost always used to bash LUCENT whenever he had the bully pulpit in the past. I wonder what he'll be like now?
