providing military secrets isn't particularly comforting. In any event, the row with China and Russia started with the misadventures in Kosovo. remember the bombing of the Chinese embassy. pretty much everything broke up in his last year - israel/plo, china/taiwan, ussr, stock market, bubble economy, ... the chinese apparently want their military defector back from the us and possibly use the crew as pawns in the taiwan arms decision as well
