who needs em? If for once they would simply make something simple, that ALWAYS works, and is easy to use, now that would be a sell.

Doesn't mean it will sell. People arent buying PCs anymore because they are saturated. Windows 98 works fine. windows 2000 has been a complete disaster. We all can see how profitable building hardware turned out for Sega and their dreamcast. Or Atari and their Jaguar.. Want to value MSFT like a videogame company? Go check atari's stock price, or segas.
