Hmmm, good question. I think the Dow's got a long, long way down yet to go and this break of support on the COMPX and the SOX only tells me the best bet continues to be "down" for now.

Since we're trading options and not stocks, it's always good to sell into a volatility spike like we have today. I've noticed a pattern recently where the market will sell off in a whoosh, then calm for a few days. This calming period leaches premium from options because the volatility factor built into them is deflating. That's when I like to re-buy, as you're using both the general direction of the market, as well as the volatility factor, to your advantage.
