gst, 1987 was a big bubble for real estate in certain areas. 2.5 years ago housing prices equaled their value in 1987 - not adjusting for inflation. they have only recently passed 1987 values adjusting for inflation. there obviously wasn't a stock market bubble of this magnitude, though.
