Dear Scumbria:

Just as probable as the plane that carries your to the bay area has a crash. Besides, have you ever seen a nuclear cask? Those are very hard to break. It might be easier to float it and tow it into position. Drop it into a well drilled into the sea floor and bury it in bottom mud.

The government tries to bury as it is easier to forget that than to reprocess it into easier to handle forms. They neglect that option because of some stupid policy and they can get away with it. Anyway they are transporting nuclear weapons in a much more cavalier way than that. Besides it is not that impossible, just goes against the grain to their way of thinking.

Besides, what do you know of reprocessing? Do you know nuclear physics? Any physics at all?
