Dear Scumbria:

Rushed nuclear weapons programs by the government and military are not clean. Of that I can agree with you on. But the commercial nuclear power industry is far more regulated and loads cleaner than that. I repeat, no deaths have occured to date in the commercial nuclear power industry in the US. I have handled nuclear materials, have you? Have you been trained to do that?

Y-12, K-25, Rocky Flats, Paducah, Hanford, etc. were weapons sites, and had next to nothing to do with the production of nuclear energy.
