Thanks for the response. I travel throughout North America between major cities and am looking for others with laptop/cell modem/wireless provider information and experience. Most of my travel is in Canada, but I can spend several weeks in U.S. I don't think a PDA is what I'm looking for (but I don't know for sure) because of the small screen size. I'm not sure what SI or Stockwatch or other such websites would like like on such a screen, if they downloaded to a Palm or Rim device at all?? So I think I need a laptop that can tap into a 1-800 number phone line at hotels, and a wireless modem service provider when travelling around. Interested in anyone with any information or experience.
