Did Gartner write anything about the amount of MIPS,chip
size and electrons stored in a battery it takes to produce
the airinterface for "GPRS", EDGE and WCDMA???

Or that apple is to fruits as the UMTS airinterface is to
GPRS networks??

Or that orange is to fruit what the GPRS airinterface is
to UMTS networks.

"Handsets capable of utilizing full GPRS capacity would be coming out in 2003, but by that time mobile operators will be screaming for UMTS"

"Handsets capable of utilizing full fruit capacity would be coming out in 2003, but by that time mobile operators will be screaming for apples",
or maybe it was the other way around ???

And screaming only helps at QCDMA cocktail parties and
while kicking on the floor when younger than 4-5 years.
(some claim 35 is the the present threshold, retirement
seem suitable for most journalists)

GPRS is really difficult to understand??

Ilmarinen.

P.S. At least it is not easy being a creative journalist,
editor nor even a reporter, nor a typing machine.
(Ayn's Rand-Remington was a great brand)
