if you haven't already.

some have a problem holding the darn thing and pushing the small buttons. otherwise, sounds like a good camera.

be sure to get one in your hand and try it before buying, though.

if you are spending anything near $1500 (us) then i'd consider a 3ccd camera. you could get a nice one for $2k and the picture is much better. it will be larger, though, and may not take pictures.

I have a Sony that also takes stills... Apparently the lens for a videocam and a still is different, so you will be compromising on the quality of the stills. That's what I was told.
