Brian/Gottfried..... perhaps its time to make a pact with the devil.....

For a very small sum (a small not very clean soul) a Daniel Webster pact could be made with the devil. Tell me the price of AMAT by the end of the year and the deal is on. There must be a few agnostic thread viewers that would have no problem with this kind of arrangement.

There was a short story written about a wealthy stock trader who wanted to know only one thing. The closing stock prices one day in advance. So he made his pact with the devil (stock quotes for the soul) and got the WSJ a day in advance.Besides the stock quotes it also had his obituary. There was no after hour trading in those days so he couldn't beat that clock either. (I believe this was a short story written by O'Henry... I don't recall the title...thread lurkers correct me)

Regards, Jerome

EGLS trading up after warning last night and Nas down to a nearly 3 year low. But if you were to ask a Bear why this was so, I believe their repsonse would be something along the lines of "see the irrational exhuberance is still in the market." No matter how many times a stock is chopped in half, these guys always will proclaim it as overvalued.
