Keep it away from children, keep children off of the pages, and I agree.

" Censorship is a violation of individual freedom and once censorship is allowed on any level then it is easy to escalate it into mandating how people should act and think. So my view on porn is so what, those that want can have it, those that hate it should look the other way. "

Rich you may be surprised that for once we agree. The problem is that what you do in the privacy of your house at your expense is different than what you do in public. We have banned smoking in California because we view it trespasses on others rights. If libraries are going to allow porn than they should comply with laws that keep children away. Banning children from libraries so that adults can view porn is the solution. Let children grow up and decide for themselves when nature kicks in when it is time for them to become sexually involved.
I hope all kidding aside that you don't define progressive as being in favour of adults having sex with children

If you don't think the anti-porn brigade isn't watching the McCain assault on the First Amendment like hawks, you don't know them very well. If it ever makes it into law, expect an all out war on pornography.

While I disagree with the censors in principle, I will be sitting back and watching with amusement as the left is forced to argue that the First Amendment was written to protect smut but not political speech. It'll be fun in a sardonic sort of way.
