My first day of college, I had an anthropology class. As I was turning in some papers, the professor said to me "Did you know Jesus was a Jew". I wished I would of told him he was a racist bigot and spat in his face. Instead, I have puzzled over what he meant. I mean, was he saying I was a naive redneck?

As opposed to the brainy areas that only welcome the educated and white?

I think we switched gears, but that is ok. I do not believe in discrimination of any kind, for whatever reason. If one of my sons wants to be a nurse, go for it. If my daughter wants to fix cars, she can follow the example of her aunt (my sister) and go to vocational school.

Why should the defense of oppression of minorities be a cry of reverse discrimination? Isn't the opposite of oppression, freedom? The 'well, they did it too' argument has been tried by my kids, and I didn't fly then.
