very well could be, but the nas rising wedge from the may low to the sept top was just like the rally into april 1930, maybe the dow adding in at the feb top was the clincher.

the velocity of the downturn in consumer sentiment and the economy from an extreme peak has no other rival in this century other than the turn into the 30's.

munger from berkshire hathaway described the internet bubble as never before seen in capitalism.

it's quite possible that we have seen a bubble that is larger than 29, crosscurrents has some charts of trading volume as a percent of GDP, you may have seen them.
