It's not just your school (of course). Our school routinely has the police out because parents fail to stop at the stop signs in the parking lot. Parents get out of their cars and leave them unattended in the area marked only for dropping off and picking up. And parents can forget what is really important (not running over someone else's kid) in their mad dash to where ever it is they are going. The police visits do wonders at our school.
