Hi Bobby,

Oh yea that fruit comp.gggg

Sure did build some big Companies.I used to live next to Compaq it was a little company tucked in a woods back in 81.

Many new startups are morphing off of this industry. If margins get thin - then new applications will become feasible.

Especially wireless.

Regardless of cycle more chips will be demanded by the evolution that has no end.It just grows and permeates our lives in more and more ways.

Internet based b2b will flourish. Right now only big boys are utilizing for efficiency reasons(replace field people and travel time). There will be complete new industries/applications.Not too far off we'll need a computer to order a pizza ,cause the phones too slow.Body shops will order parts by the minute instead of once a day on a lan.Customers will authorize repairs to their vehicles over a service department website - same thing with reservations for work to be done. Its happening here in Houston right now.Slow at first but universal when done.

Computers are just beginning to get cheap.I remember being the first to have a TI calculator in school some bitched and thought I was cheating.hehehe

Hold onto your beany copter hat Bobby- we aint seen nothin yet.

The change is only just beginning to happen.JMHO

Bob
