That was 5 months ago - so where's the flood of chips? Hmmm.... Is there ever a step between building test wafers and shipping CPUs in volume?

Significant volume is sort of a subjective call, so I'll leave that open.

OTOH, it's a lot easier to copy someone else's pioneering work, so I'd expect things to progress more quickly for Intel.
