I'm still short ETYS. Usually, these stocks trade on the pink sheets and you still don't owe any tax until you cover. I did have one short that was declared worthless last year, so I'm going to have to claim the full amount of the sale (less commission) as taxable income for 2000. So for tax purposes it's better for some of these companies to hang around on the pink sheets then to really go to zero.
