Hey Dabum

Your friend could be correct, but last week's build was pretty huge and I'm still suspect. I have a distant memory of something like this happening last year, but we weren't in the death grip of a bear market to make the reaction so explosive to the downside. Very difficult here to sort the fact from the fiction.

I've been somewhat bearish about the red sox lately. I started worrying when I read a quote from David Cone referring to the clubhouse last month as "This place is worse than the [expletive] bronx zoo". He was referring to the whole Carl Everett thing, etc. We have some great talent this season, I just hope that Jimmy Williams can sort it out and line it up correctly to deliver something. What the hell do you do with Carl Everett -- the slider of the red sox? And what about Nomar's wrist surgery -- yikes!

The water's fine over here in 'short' techland. My KREM short is looking mighty fine as well.

Although I'm having some success here, I'm getting very nervous. Just covered my INTC short. Everything has gone down so far, so fast it makes one wonder what to expect next.

Looking forward, will next quarter's earnings announcements be worse than this quarter?

Other than Greenspan, does anyone see a catalyst to keep us from entering the Roman Empire in our historical NASDAQ?

Does energy get a boost if the API's are good? Or, do we trend lower during this shoulder season?

Does this China thing impact our markets even further?

I'm having a lot of success here, but not feeling successful.

Nervously standing by,
dabum
