I'll be doubling my position if we can hit $6.

I don't think it can happen. But with capitulation, maybe?

By the way, it is nice to have cash and lots of margin capacity. Just waiting, watching in amazement.

Zebraspot, your short spots are showing. Look, post something on the negative side, when it is helpfull to longs and shorts, but not when it is slanted trueth, that will only hurt longs and benefit shorts.

I watch traders everyday, that play the direction of the mkt, long or short, but they don't come here and try to influence people with half trueths, they simply trade.

To me Avanex has reasonable value at $8, based on what is know currently, of the earnings picture. So at $9.6 we aren't that far away. If that picture deteriorates further, thats a different story.

However at some point the visibility thing will start to clearup, even as we have a remaining slow down to work through, so in that case, we could recieve some further near term bad news, and bounce.

Anyway, one of the reasons I didn't short Avanex all the way down, I was because I was posting here. Shorting can cause damage, in my oppion, when the short sellers, play on peoples fears, and that leads to further selling.
