Robert..If you sell an uncovered put (Naked put) a prem is
paid to you..if on the strike date the stock is above the strike price..you keep the prem. but if it below you have
to buy the stock at the strike price and you also keep the prem. So if you sold the 15.00 strike on Jan 2003 and received 4 5/8 points, if you are assign because the price is below 15.00, you keep the 4 5/8 points..this make the
price of the stock you have to buy....10 3/8....Naked Puts
are a gamble and you should only sell them on stock that you
would not mine owning....

Robert, I understand selling naked calls but 'naked puts'?
Is there such a thing as selling 'covered puts'? I know I can look this up, so reply only if you have the time.
