Yes, generally a good report. I could nitpick about their inventories, but overall a pretty decent performance. I think it starts to get tough for them now.

I covered 'em last Thursday, but if they run all the way back to 50, I may take another shot at some point.

BBY sales bounce, mortgage refinancing, increase in housing sales (or not as much a drop) - all these are consumers' knee jerk reactions to sttep rate cuts in quick succession. In reality, not many consumers who are better off today can not or may not want to imagine bad things 1 year down the road!

Remember that only last month did the $400.00 MSN rebate end. MSN now has smaller, more scaled back offers.

And talking to a couple workers and a manager bee there, sales of higher-end merchandise slowed "noticeably".
