I can't agree more-the workers in China
cannot wait to go to work and are very
eager for the US to set up any type of
factory so they can come to work. We cannot
compare wage scales between different
nations. Judge the people by their
expressions and in China there is
exuberance and plenty of smiles-especially
when they meet with us americans, As far as
the prisons/drug users-the whole matter is
a complete farce-prison for pot
smoking-give us a break. The cigarette
manufactures should be the one's in prison
and the bastards in Congress who support
this industry-for what? Ill health as a
trade for taxation revenues! -->

Max, another thing about Chinese prisons is that you do not have prisoners raping and killing eachother like here.

When you put a person in prison in the US, it is like putting them in a school that teaches them how to become a better criminal. Survival and adaptability are the main focus in the US prison system. I had an employee that did 10-years hard time, and I have 2-more that have been prison guards. Another has 3-brothers that are prison guards. These are all at max security prisons.

I agree with you on Tibet, but there are not any easy solutions there with the present regime. It is something that will take time, like Jerusalem and Northern Ireland.
