However I come at it, I tend to the view that religion would be fine if it wasn't for all the associated 'belief in gods' stuff...
Of course, if we had the old Norse gods, that'd be different. Or the pantheon of the ancient Greeks... Hermes would be a particularly fine role model <vbg> [hmm. Clinton may have beaten me to that one.]
