Interesting that the top 5 NASDAQ tech stocks (by market cap, msft intc csco orcl sunw) are trading at a combined trailing PE of 22.5 (and declining). Compared to the S&P 500, that was trading at a trailing multiple of 23.5 last Friday.

Are the short/long term prospects for earnings growth for the tech companies better of worse than the prospects for the average large cap company?

What a change from 13 months ago.

John

The Options Industry Council holds courses around the country on the basics of options. They usually hold a first course and an advanced course and you will have no trouble taking them back to back on the same night. You will get printed material and software. The courses are free. The booklet Characteristics and Risk of Standardized Options is available from any broker. They all send it out when you are approved for any level of trading involving options. Good hunting

Thanks. I appreciate the information.
