I'm afraid of the same thing ... but the timing of some of these moves seems to correlate with the China EP-3 forcedown rather than the dribble of nasty news. As we've swung to the hyper-pessimistic now, I think we'll swing back to level or even optimistic soon. Consider the sentiment swings as a psychological MACD indicator ... <g>

PS - As the fighter jocks say, a kill is a kill. That EP-3 pilot gets to paint a red star below his next cockpit ... <g> (And any jet jock who lets himself get bumped out of the sky by a propeller-driven patrol craft is just plain clueless.)

Further OT - Bush et al have a perfect, timely response to this provocation. Last week, he stopped the sale of Aegis destroyers to Taiwan. He simply has to approve that transaction to return the finger in the eye. This is a test - the Chinese want to find out if GW can handle the big stick. Count on it - he can.
