I would suggest buying 4 knuckle gold rings. Either that or one of those old egyptian neck pieces. One of those huge mercedes benz necklaces would be cool also. Maybe gold hubcaps. You could, if you wanted, have your family pet dipped in gold. There are tons of things you can buy made of gold.

doesn't really matter...bullion coins and bars are both fine. i'd also look at high quality numismatic coins at this stage, since premiums are very low and tend to expand in gold bull markets. however, it's of the essence to be well informed and find a reliable dealer before venturing into this segment of the market.
