looks like Solly is looking to sell its banking sector shares in a big way

siliconinvestor.com

Salamon Brothers is recommending the banking sector
funny
I read big banks are horribly exposed to derivative losses
i.e. trading losses
called by the cryptic masters "discontinuous losses"

big banks are also facing some heavy exposure from failed firms
i.e. internet dot.bullshit.com
bankruptcies are rising fast, real fast

dont believe the "2nd half recovery" mantra
nothing but a sales pitch that will be central to lawsuits next winter

I see an economic recovery taking place between Dec2001 and May2002
not before
I know I have sounded like a lunatic bear lately
but I have been doing my homework
and have been in 100% cash since mid-Feb

sure, I eye a short candidate like CIEN from time to time
and now I am eying AMAT and NVLS and KLIC, the chipfab stocks
they are all gonna fall off the table soon
NVLS has 30% downside to its 52-wk low
they guided lower recently, and will probably again and again and again
with Intel cutting back on fabs, so will everybody else

and REIT's will also fall off the table, or the kitchen counter, or apartment patio
