AMZN may make it in 2 years, I take Bezos seriously when he said AMZN is not a good buy for the
smaller investor, and I am not a mutual fund. The rest you are right, they have no business model that works for
profitability nor or ever, they are "IDEA CHARITIES", and thus will never pan out or survive in these harder
times.

Crystal you have come to your senses. I don't know too much about PALM or NTAP since I am not interested in them. I prefer QCOM over PALM, and storage, look at EMC, it gets hammered.

Amazon: I buy a lot from them at a discount and free shipping, but I will stop buying since I don't know if they can survive. By shorting Amazon, I made profit, use the money to buy merchandise from Amazon, cause Bezos to lose more moeny, make more money on the short, buy more from Amazon, Bezos loses more money, etc etc, and the beat goes on. Do I contribute to the demise of Amazon? Yes, in a very tiny microspopic way. Just like I contribute to the coffers of the US government with my taxes.

So suppose tomorrow MSFT buys out PALM for a generous $10/share. Then what? You gonna hold MSFT for the other 580%?
