Exactly how much money and credit do you want Greenspan to pump into the financial system? Maybe you should move to a banana republic where the government can print money every time the citizenry whines. We're getting close to that situation here, though. economagic.com Congress is not the Fed's boss. In theory, they could control the Fed. However, the Fed would immediately lose all credibility and the dollar would collapse. The very thought of jokers like you having influence on our financial system would be enough to destroy the fragile confidence the world has in the U.S. Dollar. Tom

Congressional GAO General Accounting Office AUDIT THE FEDERAL RESERVE and Greenspan's mismanagement. No one loses $5 Trillion Dollars and just chalks it up as "even I did not like competition when I was a consultant in the private sector". Greenspan used to work for Steel Mills, now his Monetary Policy just "STEALS" the American Dream as millions of retirees are being sent back to the tread MILLS. He is sadistic and Congress is afraid of him. Congress forgets the Jeffersonian Revolution, they should start fearing US Voters. Bush can either lead or be led. He has about 30 days left to decide, before he becomes a one termer. I am, Truly your$, -Crystal Ball
