Stephen...I did the same...bought QCOM, CHKP, CIEN for trade...bailed 5 minutes ago.....my discipline was poor, however....I jumped to early....still made good money on all...but I'm mad at myself...(I judge myself not by the $$, but by the discipline)...set up a good system, follow it...and the $$ will come... Nothing, nothing is worth break your trading rules, losing your discipline....even if you make money, if you erode your system, and it will cost you much money in the end... Like all traders, still learning to control emotions....sorry for thinkin' out loud here..
