well i'm a little surprised that you apparently don't count me among the new econ crowd, as i originally made it that way during the bubble, before giving back more than i would have preferred since then. <g> in fact, i don't think anyone looking at my list of stocks in my profile would accuse me of not being among the new econ crowd. <g or ng, not sure which here <g>> (no matter how embarrassed about that list i am now.... :( )

my point, ike, is that VIRTUALLY NO ONE, no matter how wealthy originally, or how much they made on the left shoulder of the bubble, could possibly survive this mess unless they chose to allocate assets to weather it. so if i am speaking to deaf ears here, count yourself and any others thinking likewise as most fortunate.
