FWIW, I had a conversation with IR today. GMGC has made a conscious decision to test the market in hopes for a better price than $1. They said they could have done a deal at current pricing but decided it was better to do it this way.

Now, we all know what can happen regardless of how GMGC feels it protected itself regarding manipulation, HOWEVER, I think the positive to get out of this is that GMGC feels they can do better than current pricing. They may fall prey to a bad market, and they may fall prey to some games they feel won't happen, but the fact that they see a reason for their stock to be worth more later this quarter is a positive sign. Much more so, at least, than if they had sold at $1. I know this isn't much, but it seems this deal is not a sign of desperation.

Management has a long way to go to win back investor confidence. If they did this right, it would be a nice step in the right direction. But that is a big if.
