As long as they destroyed it, I don't care how. I heard on CNN yesterday, they were instructed to destroy any sensitive material, just hope they followed orders...

I don't know on the planes but on board ship we had thermite mounted over the equipment and the safes with the codes. Light off the thermite and it would burn right through it. Of course we never knew if it would keep on burning right through the hull :)
