It has been a dismal failure and has eroded more of our rights than anyone realizes. Just as Prohibition, it just fuels gangs, and dangerous drug use. FWIW, more people die from aspirin a year than from heroin. (Sourse CDC). And only 4,000 people die each year from illegal drugs. Around 250,000 a year die from legal OTC and scripts. Oh, but guess who funds Partnership for a Drug Free Amerika? 90% from the pharmaceutical companies. You sure are informed, just like you are in the gun debate....
