Why is 1929 being mentioned soooooo much this week. America will never experiance '1929' again. A much more reasonable comparison would be to the 'stagflation' of the 70's. Seems that since most of todays investors wern't born yet in 1970 that they tend to skip over the bad economic times of the 70's and go immediatly to 1929 for a comparison (they also think that the 70's were a 'happy time' -- must be that damn 'smilely button'). A comparison to 1929 is as flawed as the logic that was used to support AMZN at $400.
