Well, i think you are using a bad example. MSFT had been losing people to arba, bvsn, vign, sebl, inkt, akam,..etc. Now they will lose people to sebl but not the others. It's a net gain, obviously.

Csco can lose people to jnpr, but not redb.

It's not a small point at all. The small guys are DEAD.

Maybe its easier for me to "get" because I am seeing it FOR SURE. the employees are going to go to the stronger companies.

for talent could rewrite the leadership equation...<<

Noted ...there might not be enough companies left after this is over with for most people choose. They'll be lucky to have a job, imo.
